For those who are having success with *b* on EQ and TU, how many did you have before *b* occurred? I am currently at 137. I am soooooo hoping to get these gone! I have 6 hards on EQ and 5 on TU.
As GEORGE would say-- YMMV. Your Mileage May Vary. I had my first taste of *b* around 105 on TU and 125 on EQ. I lost 9 on TU and 8 on EQ, than it stopped. I am hoping it starts again and I get rid of 3 more on EQ and 4 on TU. I wonder if it stopped since I applied for a c/c when I got excited about the *b*.
I applied to get my 2nd BofA and 2nd Chase cards on Nov 27th and 29th. I just had *B* today and both of those inqs for TU are gone. I pull PG once a day almost every single day. YMMV
When you pull an EQ or TU report on PG and on their own site, you get a soft. Given the table space on their database, when you get a high enough number, the HARDS disappear! This is awesome since hards cost points and softs don't.
Well mom, since I started using your '5 a day' trick on PG my B has been good. I had 11 hards on TU, it went to 7, then the next day it went to 2. I gain no points for losing hards more than 6 months old. I have 9 on EQ, and it still sits at 9. I think EQ sees the pulls all coming from the same source in a short amount of time and only records on of them in the database. I am only seeing one soft a day when I pull EQ from myfico. But on TU I am seeing all 5 of the pulls.
Yeah, I am getting the same additions to softs as you. I was at 111 on the 19th of Dec. I did not pull 24-28 or 31 - 05. I am currently at 137. I haven't counted my TUs recently, but I still have no *b* yet. I will keep pulling until I get it. I could use it!
Well so I have searched, and cant find reference to SCmomof5's "5 a day" trick. Anyone know what this entails? Thanks.
