    amex blue-no balance, limit 2000
    amex green-about 600-700 a month
    chase-180 balance, 800 dollar limit
crap one-3000 no balance (interest rate too high but oldest line so keeping it, maybe?)
citi -3000 no balance-gas card, being cancelled next week, shell is too expensive even with the 5% back
best buy 1700 balance-1000 dollar limit(don't know why or how they approved it but they did)

want to apply for mbna world points, sock drawer the chase because they won't raise the limit and the crap one because the apr is too high, the citi is getting cancelled(but not until after I get my new card, so it doesn't show any closed accounts till after I apply for and recieve new card) and the Best Buy will be paid off by the time the no ineterest period is up, reason I am card shopping is because I save my money up(since I am a college student and don't make very more than enough to pay the bills normally) and buy big stuff and my 800$ plat chase won't even pay for half of the new camera I am getting and the place I am getting it doesn't take amex as do lot's of places, and I get lot's of preapproved from fleet but here they are crappy, should I wait until my big screen from best buy is paid off or is my utilization good enough I can apply tonight? Thanks in advance !

oh, by the way, how picky is MBNA as far as requirements?

Don't know about MBNA requirements for approval.

Have you thought about applying for a BofA card? Even if you're declined - as long as you have a CLEAN TU, you can dispute the decision through PFB and get reconsideration. (Did that and was approved for $5k Platinum Visa).

I am a 10+ year old customer of MBNA...but they have NEVER given me a limit increase in 8+ years!!!!

I was sent an offer for a second card...DENIED!!!

    SUFFICIENT CREDIT AVAILABLE!!!

They knew what I had BEFORE they mailed it to me!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL THEY WANTED WAS TO LOWER MY SCORE I GUESS...

will that pertain to me since I don't have the UYGF though? LOL :) If my scores are 760ish would I be fine applying for MBNA worldpoints? will they Jack my apr if I only use their card as a back up? I have heard they are notorious for raising apr and dropping limits for not using their cards exclusively, because this one would get used basically when rates are better than amex blue or when places don't take AMEX because I have green for everyday purchases, what do you guys think? I just think my Chase visa with a 800$ limit and a 200ish dollar balance is hurting my utilization at 25% which is ridiculous and chase won't budge on the limit and the fact that I make big purchases so that 800 limit could be taken in one purchase so I need something witha higher limit and decent APR. Thanks for listening and you guys recommending any other cards if you guys think worldpoints may not be my best option.
