    Hi There,

I was hoping someone might be able to help me. I am looking to transfer my cc debt to a low interest card. I currently have an EQ score of 701 and four credit cards. A Citibank card with a $1200 limit, BofA with $900, FirstUSA United with $3000, and a Household GM with $4000. All cards have fairly high balances, and Houshold and FirstUSA just recently raised my interest to 24.9%, so I'm looking to send my balances to someone else. As equifax is my highest score by probably 40 points or so, I was hoping to find another card that pulled them. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

you might wanna call Citibank - ask for a credit line increase and once approved get them to give you a special balance transfer rate to consolidate all accounts into one.

Thanks for the help, I contacted Citibank and they raised my limit by $300. Any other suggestions anyone?

I'd consider applying for MBNA. They gave me 1.7% for 6 months, you might get 0% if you call and ask for it. After you get it, the BT offers come every month. The only caveat with MBNA is they insist on BT fees and won't waive them. But are capped at $50 so if you are BT'ing alot, it might be worth it.

THe Citi 0% for BT's is for new accounts only I think.

MY BT FEE IS $75.00 AT MBNA

    $0.00
    $30.00
    $50.00
    NOW $75.00

if you ignore the 1.7% my quantum worldpoints then went to 0%.

I'm hoping for -1% APR pretty soon.

    Oops!

Mistype. Yes, MBNA BT fee is "capped" at $75. What is NOT a mistype is that it won't get waived :(

    Sam,

Let me know if you get "-1" APR, I want that too.
