I just got off the phone with Citi... Called about a credit limit increase for my Citi dividend card ($2400), told him I wanted to exclusively use this card for all my Christmas purchases.... He said how about I turn this card into a $7000.00 card for you? He asked me if that would work? I said (YES) go for it!!!!!! and BAM! I got it! From $2400 to $7000... That's not the end.... He said, I see you have another card with us, Platinum Select with a $3100 limit, would you like this to be a $10,000 card... I said... out loud - yes! in my mind I said - HELL YEAH! He then told me I will call you back on this one, give me a few hours to work on this... Even if I don't get the credit line increase on the other card... I'm big time happy!!!!! I will just combine.... I'm like walking around the house with the phone in my hand...
Remember the UYGF! Yours is probably "lost in the mail." GEORGE, seriously, did you ever get anything from them when they told you that you looked at the request for increase too often? I'm so spooked I think I've only looked once since you posted that!

Re: Re: BAM! $7000.00 - CITI increase!!!!! Every time I go online at Citi or AT&T Universal card, my mouse pauses over the "credit limit increase" choice. Then I think about GEORGE, force my fingers off of the mouse button, and log out. I've usually checked whatever I need to check by then.
