    Hello,

Looking for some feedback here. I am 6 years post BK with an average score of 663. I applied for a BR store card and was approved online for $500.00 issued through Monogram Bank. They also handle the GAP so I also applied there and was denied.

Any feedback, do you think the score dropped that much from the first card?

    Thanks

What bank does the GAP use? If it's Monogram Bank they probably denied for one of two reasons:

    Bankruptcy
More than one account with them.

I know that you can't have two Orchard Bank cards (Monogram Bank).

I also applied for the GAP card and was denied but that didn't stop me from getting (after being denied by GAP):
    Jared's (jewelry) $3,500.00
    Zales $750
    Patelco Visa $2,500.00

    Keep your head up.

you know all the monogram banks seem to be pulling GECCC. wife just got a lowes card and it was a hard from GECCC for some reason.

hence why i avoided them (thought they were monogram bank, previous c/o). i had a previous c/o with home depot.

funny this is now that i have $50K+ in mastercard from citi, i applied for a home depot and got $7500 limit ;) lol

gotta love 0 payments 0 interest for 12 months.

a 500 CL seems an ok start from the banana republic as most of their items (other than the shearling coat I drooled over-well, figuratively) are under that amt. 500 wouldnt do so well at Saks or Tiffany's but at BR it should be fine.
