I'm on my father's banking acct., can a CA touch his funds? Also, I'm suppose to get an estate settlement check sometime in the near future. How can I protect it from being touched?

    Thanks.

Are you a joint holder? I know, a long time ago, I had to hide some money, so I opened an account, and put my hubby as trustee. He didn't have to submit a social, and would have had to go into the bank to withdraw funds, but it gave us security.

I believe a CA would have to have a judgment and a garnishment order, but that hasn't stopped some really nasty CA's from wiping out accounts.

only if they obtained a judgment and if they found the account. if you a joint holder maybe you can change it so you are only authorized on it.

    -YES. Legally? NO!

-Maybe a break down of what the "issue" is might help :)

-There are hundreds of services on the net to find assets of people easily.
