First off thank you again everyone , this site has been a godsend. Anyway I can give back just advise. thank you. Well, Bank of America just sent me a letter that they are closing my checking acct. In the past month I have had two tenants rent checks get returned as deposits. I wrote a certified letter to the risk department with explanation even saying I would open a savings acct with them. I would like to keep this checking account. can anyone advise who I should contact to plead my case, ? the branch is so close. Who should I send a letter to to request they keep it open.. ideas??? Thanks again.. davis
You can send it to a VP. But this sounds like a great chance to find a local bank and develop a relationship with them.
Why do you want to keep this account in a criminal organization that wants to cancel/close your accounts because of two returned checks?
update, three letters now from bank of america My account was frozen, even though the deposits are all cleared and the funds are totally clear, they froze the account , saying that the hold on my monies would be up on the 19th so i thought no big deal, then next letter said the 22nd, now it says the 29th, i figured it out, even though i have sent them documention from the other accounts showing teh money was debited from those other accts back on the 15th, they still have my funds on hold , almost 3,000 dollars and I cannot access it and they are returning checks at $35.00 a pop since the funds are "on hold" . guess i will do what i always do, send out my cert letters to the chairman, office of bank supervision, and anyone else I can reach, anyone here have any ideas??? thanks again as alwaays davis
