Just found out that Bofa is extending its 4.75% offer bt - for life of balance - no transaction fees - or cash advance - at same rate. The previous offer was good til June 30. Their special bt tel is: 1-888-249-2302
I was told it was for LIFE...(but I suppose you would eventually pay it off...years down the road if 0.00% BT'S are still everywhere you might NOT want that HIGH 4.75% RATE...
Re: Bank of America extends 4.75% o GEORGE I think the "for life of balance" and "no transaction fees" makes it appealing - because others have a time limit - and most charge the 3% trans fee. however - the cherry on top here is the cash advance. I haven't seen anybody give this low rate for a bt check that you can put into your bank account.

So when I get the CHASE BT...it will pay off AMEX again...(IF YOU DEPOSIT A "TON" OF MONEY IN YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT...LIKE $10,000+ IN ONE DAY...THEY ASK QUESTIONS)...
Re: Bank of America extends 4.75% o I HAVE 9.99% (can't get 5.90% FOR BT'S)...BUT I HAD TO PAY $1.95 TOTAL INTEREST LAST MONTH...(RAN A CREDIT BALANCE MOST OF THE MONTH)... I guess it would be better to put it in the checking account...BUT I'm not going to be willing to answer any "PRYING" questions about a VERY LARGE DEPOSIT!!!
Re: Bank of America extends 4.75% o Mark - It seems like I'm always getting the prime + 0% offer from B of A - they're great for no BT fees, and I've certainly used it ... BUT the winners lately are Discover and Chase - 0% + $0 fees. All of these low rate offers should remind us to keep a few cards in the sock drawer just for BT offers. -mj

I told them that a friend told me that she got a BT offer for 0%. For BT's over 5,000.. for a year. Their automatic response system said they will respond w/in 24 hours. I will let you know if they accept or turn me down again. Cherie

Re: Bank of America extends 4.75% o gr8 - I've used this number a few times in the past for Bofa balance transfers and there wasn't a problem, It's the number Bank of America gave me a few months ago when I asked if there are any special bt offers available. however - i think the regular customer service number will give you the same offer too.
