My brother just called BofA customer serivice and asked for the limit increase for his Platinium Mastercard. All they told me he may want to do the balance transfer. They increased his credit limit from $5000 to $10,000 on the spot. Ron.
Re: Bank Of America Plat Limit Incr He almost had the card for over 2 yrs 6 months and he never request credit limit increase until today. He told her that he may want to do balance transfer and she gave him extra $5000 increase. That will increase his account limit to $10,000. Their customer service is very nice. I also have Bank of America Platinium cards with them and recently they increased mine: M/C from $8000 to $9000 and Visa from $6300 to $10,300. I don't think they pulled any credit report for limit increase once a year. They didn't ask me our income and I think they just review the account payment history. Ron.
