    Rawhide,
Do you remember what your score was?

Thought I would apply since I had no inqs or bk anymore.

Thanks! But I'm just proof to others that it CAN be done! It took a LOT of work but it's been worth it. I now only have almost clean reports (a very old Providian charge-off on EX and TU - will come off this year anyway - but I'm still working on it - and DMCCB which is ONLY on TU.

Had to file three lawsuits and work on my credit for 20 to 30 hours a week for quite a while. But folks, it CAN be done!!!

My EQ and TU scores are great - but can't seem to get EX up there - but it's fako anyway...

    Thanks, mommy2cats

I know, I've had a total of 40something derogs deleted.

Still have 2 left on tu and 3 on eq, which 2 of those drop this year. I;m nit complaining too bad, lol. eq fico is up over 100 points in less than year.

Getting there, lol. Just working on paying everything off to see what happens with score.

That is awesome success. I had a fairly clean slate to work with. 1 chargeoff, 1 30 day late, and 1 "mysterious NCO collection." Got all but the 30 day off (held on with FCNB glue). Now all I have to do is let all the previous inquiries fall.

    Rawhide,

Cant wait till my 30 late is the only thing showing!

Only have a couple more to go. BUT...I don;'t know if you read about all my tu inqs...I haven't checked today, but all week, everytime I pull my wk report, NO inqs show andmy bk is gone. Thought it was weird, so I opulled from tu site...nithing there. Dont know what happened, but faco shot up like 70 points. Im sure they will ALL come back, though. Printed it to hang on the wall, lol.

Thanks for all your help, Rawhide. Still anticipating big D with Chase...hee hee.

    Robin is Great!!!

I applied for a gold card and was denied due to excessive inquiries in 5 months, Yes I had alot because I had just cleaned up my TU report completely of all negatives and was applying for credit.

The crappy thing is that most cards wouldn't approve me since I didn't have any credit cards on my credit report??

Others would approve me only for a secured, I had only good standing loans and a current auto loan listed with a 653 TU FAKO score.

I got a recent loan with Citifinancial with no problem though.

I PFB'd Robin and asked her to reconsider my application and please take a manual look at my credit report as there is nothing negative about it, except the excessive inquiries.

She called me that same day and I called her back. She said to fax me my W2 statement of income and she would get back to me.

Got a call this morning saying I was approved and would be getting my card in 5-7 days!!

I don't know what the credit line is I didn't ask, I was too excited since I was approved to care about the credit line.

This is also the first time I've ever had a prime credit card with no deadbeat fees attached, I am so happy with them and Robin.

I will write her a letter expressing my thanks to her for all of her help.

If anyone who has been helped by Robin should do the same, these are the type of people that should be recognized for good work. It is common place now days to receive lousy customer service from any credit card company and when you find someone that goes above and beyond they should be recognized and thanked!

Please write Robin a letter to thank her if she has helped you!

    Tac
