I was told they are hard to get, even with good credit. I don't know how true it is, since I'm not a part of the "prime world" yet. It was hard enough trying to get a secured loan from them using my own money...and I'm a member. Go figure.

I don't think it's terribly hard to get. I received one with a $600 line from them recently. My oldest open line was only seven months. I have had a checking account with them for several years so that may have helped. I wasn't approved instantly when I applied.

I tried but they said I had too many inquiries within the last 6 mos, and they said I was out of state. Go figure!

I don't know what their requirement of Bank of America Visa. I apply on-line and I didn't get answer instantly. I have to wait for a couple of days to wait for answer and they approve me. I don't know it matter to approve the application and they asked what kind of accounts that you have with them. Well, I have a checking account with them and they approve me a Visa with their best rate 9.9% APR.

If you have good credit, are you sure you want this card? Isn't the APR rather high?

I don't consider 9.9 fixed to be high (at least that is one of their card options on their web page)
