My mom applied for Bank of America's platinum card last night via their web site. The application is still pending. It says check back in 24 hours. I told her to give BofA a try because she and my father have a credit line through them and hoped BofA would look on her more favorably. They are also offering 8.9% for all balance transfers until the balance is paid in full. I told her to get away from DMB and their absurd interest rates. Does anyone know what kind of score they require and if I went way off the deep end for suggesting them? Thanks. Dani
Thanks, George. I looked at their interest rates it looks like purchases are 15.99%. That's a little high. Plus I know any payment that was sent to them would be applied to the balance transfer first until it was paid off and then they would assess the money to the purchases. Dani
