There is no set number. It really depends on the rest of your report. It's impact will be devastating if new but how devastating is anyone's guess.
It depends on what sort of trade lines you have post bk. Last summer, a lady on the Motley Fool posted that she file bk in Jan. of 01. Meaning, her dischsrge was in April or May. She reaffirmed her mortgage and said she had never been late on that obligation. She also saved a credit card. Here FICO was 619 3 or 4 months post bk!
