My point was to have the Asset Account deleted off my CRA..... I knew I was past the SOL.

As do I. I was intially trying to take up for "pulse", as I don't like to see the board turn into a "CA witch hunt", which definitely will discourage newbies from posting. However, in this situation, a person is using a clever method to create an atmosphere of doubt wrt consumer law. And "pulse" needs to be exposed.

Having said that, not every weird or inconsistent newbie thread is going to be the work of an undercover collection agent (as it is in pulse's case), so it behooves everyone on Creditnet to take each post at a time before deciding whether the post is "for real".

I absolutely agree. It doesn't help to call "pulse" names or suggest mental illness. I do not think "pulse" has a personality disorder. This profile is not a "Bobby" profile.

I think "pulse" is maliciously intent on creating a mood of doubt wrt consumer law. A bit clever, but not quite clever enough - but certainly malicious.

"Pulse" has one specific goal in mind with her multiple posts.

"Pulse" won't do anything with my post... but the next imposter will. Be guaranteed that the next person wanting to do what "pulse" has done is taking great notes from her mistakes and our replies.

    Next time:

    1. The person will post general questions/advice for a longer period of time and become a presence we get used to.

    2. The person will build comradery and become friends with various others on the board to build credibility.

    3. The person will have his or lies actually make better sense (re no JCB card in China slip ups).

    4. The person will not hit the board with multiple threads of "this doesn't work" at the same time.

    5. The next person will take his or her time and make sly but pointed remarks that "____ doesn't work" in *other people's threads*, not just his/her own.

As I said above, take each post one at a time, address it on it's own merits of being either correct or incorrect and all the untruths will be uncovered and exposed.

It takes time and a careful eye.

Pulse..I quote from YOUR post right AFTER I told you about the SOL on the Asset account -

But no matter.....I HEREBY VOW to NOT answer a single more pulse post. Any creditnetter that catches my doing so can take my nurf bat and strike me on the head many times.

Have you taken the no Pulse pledge? Do it now if not for you, than do it for the children.

    Happy . . . Certainly Not

Never burn bridges . . . you may have to travel back over one.

If you are serious about climbing out of your financial mess, then stop with the slams. You may need the advice and experiences of someone on this board again. Nothing about credit repair is guaranteed. There are no simple and straight solutions to extended periods of poor money management. It is a tedious and volative process.

If you keep up the slams - your posts will be ignored - but this forum will continue. Its okay to vent (temporarily) and then move on to the serious work of getting your financial house in order.

You're no newbie, as you've obviously been following the board for a while now. You're just a deceptive, manipulative liar who came here to serve the collectoin industry by discrediting basic and well-established consumer defenses.

There is no "us", pulse, it's just you. Newbies are indeed here to stay - that's the rule. However, my bet is you'll soon prove to be the exception.

Saar- You are one of the last one I expected that from. I have found while searching the threads you have given very good info on our battle. Please keep up the good work. We continue to need your input. Many newbies are counting on you.

You titled this thread to start something,& everyone delivered EXACTLY what you were seeking. How is it anyones fault that you have not paid your bills ?

That was a personal choice to open Medusa's box, & you insinuate that it is because of Creditnetters ?

We have fought the likes of you before & WON the war;opinions are welcomed but I will be damned if I will be accused of your irresponsibilities.

    Pulse,

This is exactly what I suspected had happened. I figured you had already been dealing with them long before your first visit to this board. That's why they were able to validate so quickly. That's why it's so very important to give all the background information on your problem when asking for advice.

In any case, it sounds to me as if you are not feeling very supported...at home...or on this board. That said, I hope for your sake that things will turn around for the better soon.

If BK is the way you have to go, then perhaps some of the members on this board, now that they have all the facts, will offer some support as you go through the bk process. In any case, if you must file for bankruptcy then you might want to go ahead and file before September. There's a bill being debated in congress that's intended to make it harder to file for bankruptcy.
