The bk reform bill was delayed over the same item that has delayed it before...abortion clinic protestors filing bk to discharge court ordered fines for their activities. This provision was put there by the dems in order to stall the bill to begin with as they knew the pro-life republicans could not in conservative conscience let it slip through. This delay tactic won't be able to stall it much longer so I would suggest reading my thread on the effects the new bk rules will ultimately have on we the consumers so that we the creditnetters that might be considering bk will be well informed. Also the bill specifically targets the credit card industry so knowing the effects will change some of the tactics used in credit repair. Even in the article that was cited the author encourages people to get informed as when the bill passes the president will definitely sign it...so let's be prepared!
