I checked my credit report on the 3 cra's anyway i filed bankruptcy on 7/99 and on the Capital one fsb report it shows date reported 1/2005 is this legal?it would seem if a company checked my credit it would show i filed bankruptcy on 1/2005 instead of 7/99. Thanks Bill
Does the BK show on your report? if it does then that date you filed should be with it. Cap 1 tends to report once a month so each month it will show a new date. The DOLA is the date to be concerned with. It's the date the account went into default.
