I filed exactly a year ago...it's was petty to do that because I wasn't extremely in debt but I had to fill for personal reasons. Now I am trying to re-establish but I do not know where to go or what to do. I do not want each credit card that I was thinking of applying to be denied and that will be on my credit reposr. Please any suggestions on how do I go about repairing it???
    Thanks :)

Apply to Capital One, Orchard Bank and the Target Guest Card. They are the threesome of rebuilding.

Get your credit reports from all 3 bureaus and dispute all the negative information. Read the posts at the top of this list.

When you get your reports, if you have any questions, post them on here.

    Hi

Do a search for NanaC Credit card approval with bk. I think there a lot of good stuff there for you.

After my chp 7 I got a secured capital one card, paid it off each month and after a year they offered me an unsecured card. I then got a target guest card and eventually a new car and went from there.
It is a slow process but you may have to start with a secured card and prove yourself.

I think this is the thread by NanaC that dacoldest was talking about.
