Hello. Am working hard on getting my credit report straightened out and I must say that this site has been a godsend. Still, tho, I am confused.

Am I understanding that I should dispute any late payments on my report? I need to dispute the most glaring ones, but my reading in the creditnet library has me a bit hazy on whether *not* disputing other payments listed as late will simply verify their negative status.

Also, I should write directly to Experian regarding a particular account w/charge offs and transfers to CAs when in fact, I need verification that the account is mine. Is this correct?

Regarding the above account, must I contact the CA or Household as well?

Finally, do I need to do something regarding the requests made for my credit history if it is w/o my permission?

I've already learned so much, but would be grateful for some hand holding. The whole thing is making my head spin.

    Thanks,

    Jaxmum

do a search here for disputes and that should answer all of your questions or go to the CREDITNET library...
