HI Nope I'm talking about Bay Area Credit from San Jose California. Buttheads didn't validate to me but verified to CRA then after filed a complaint with BBB they replied that they had sent proper validation (big lie) I want to sue but sol is not yet and it can't wait... Jamie
I wrote them a "goodwill" letter a month ago on a paid collection from 3/96. To my surprise, I received a letter back stating that they would delete. Like I said, this was a month ago and Exp (the only CR this collection is showing on) hasn't deleted it yet. I need to call them and fax them the letter. I tried the sympathetic route and it worked! If you haven't burned the bridge, then it may be worth a shot! Good luck
