I have 2 cards with $1000 limit. Will I likely get another $1000 if I apply? or maybe more? How is it defined?

Oh boy, I know what Back Door Double is. I wanted to ask if I apply (BDD) and get approved, will they likely base my credit line at $1000 (like two other cards I already have, Citi and BofA, both with $1000 CL's) or they may grant me a higher CL?

I wonder how they base the credit lines, is it based on your current credit lines, or something else. Saying that, I would likely get $1000 as I have 2 accounts (one Citi, one BofA), $1000 each, or wouldn't I? Still not getting are you?
