Should I try for ROUND 2???

    AASILVER $5,000 + AAGOLD $5,000 = $10,000 PLATINUM SELECT...

But should I try NOW for another AASILVER or AAGOLD to increase my limit??? (THEY ALREADY SAID I HAVE TO WAIT 6 MONTHS ON THE CLICK FOR A LIMIT INCREASE)!!!

NOTE...I HATE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! AND I HATE LOSING POINTS FOR WASTED INQUIRES!!!

    IS IT WORTH THE RISK???
I still can get the 0.00% for the rest of the month...maybe longer NO FEE...

George, I did the BDD on Jan 15th. I was thinking of waiting until the beginning of April to apply. I'm just not sure which way to go. I've converted to the AA Platinum and am thinking of applying for a different version of a Citi card. Any suggestions? Also, when you apply online the first question you are asked is "do you currently have a Citi account"? How do you respond to this?

In your case, I think it's a matter of chance. Do you feel lucky?

If you say NO or YES...they know that the TRUE ANSWER IS YES...

...MORE...but the computer MIGHT not "LOOK" for another account?!?!?!!?

And if it finds one...that would be a STUPID reason for denial since some have 4+ accounts with CITIBANK...

George, there are some old threads with folks who reported rejections when checking the yes box (eg, for inadequate length of a/c history with citi or cuz of an old chargeoff) but same folks getting approvals when checking the no box. Have never heard of anything negative arising from checking the no box.

They have reviewed my previous accounts, whether I have checked "yes" or "no" on the application wrt the "current cardholder" question.

I tried it both ways - and both times I was denied due to a previous paid CO. Each time, I've had to have supervisor override to get approval.

    In checking yes or no:

I wonder if it depends which division of Citi the cards are located?
