About a 1 1/2 ago I started to clean up my credit reports. I had some very good initial success. I kind of put it aside for the last year. BIG MISTAKE. It looks like there was a party on my credit reports by CA while I wasn't looking. I'm hoping to get a bit of advice before I start up again (have to drag out all my notes/copies of posts here/ laws and relearn everything)... 1. I have a CA listing on TU & EX that is incorrectly listed (about 2 years off as far as time that debt went bad. Its legitimate in that it is mine- but the amount is WAY wrong). 2. I've got a couple of these:: OC lists debt as well as a CA listing the same item. Who should focus my effort on OC or CA? 3. CA (unpaid) listing $686, actual $500. I started working on this one a ways back but kinda forgot about it. CA was send CD (still called), sent 'validation' (ya right... only a copy of the original contract and a copy of one payment made prior to the contract date. Should I start this all over??
