I must have been on crack when I killed my reports with inquiries and thickened my wallets with the most ridiculous cards.

    What was I thinking?

Now I'm sick of the bills, sick of keeping them straight, sick of the telemarketing calls, everything.

I intend to phase out everything soon and get down to 6 or better yet, less cards.

The allure has died for me. Maybe it'll come back again one day, but I'm just tired of my crap/good mix.

I agree. This board is great not only for re-building & repairing but knowing what to do when it's repaired. I remember when I had 2 CCB, 4 Cap One's, Bank First, 2 Orchards, 3 Providians and thought I had really had it going on. If I only knew then what I know now. Now I will NOT apply for anything until June at least. Then I will only apply for what I think I will actually get and that will be 1-2 cards (if I reach a 650 score by then). However, I did find out the State Farm Visa pulls Experian in Texas and I almost have that one clean and my lawsuit is filed...so maybe that one will come sooner. I do know that I will never again have a wallet full of 25%+ interest low limit cards thanks to the creditnetters.

I'll second that, I got 65k+ in new credit in 6 mos.,

in addition to the 70k+/- I already had,

I'll probably keep them though, the way I have to

find the lowest rates in case they pull any fast ones

plus I think the ratios make a big difference.

I've been like a drunken sailor applying for

cards, but, everything I "touched" turned in to

a Platinum Card, I have to carry two wallets now!!!!!!!

But i have to cool down, my last inquiry was on

    New Years Eve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to enjoy the game to play it well and profit from it. I continue to strive for higher limits and lower rates, that is the game and enjoy it. One of my businesses is based on it CreditWorks, LLC. It is not hard to keep straight if you use a computer and treat as a business. CreditWorks gets to deduct the interest it pays out to its members and the owners get a nice tax refund every year.
