    If you didnt pay it off yes it will have a balance.

    It should also have a $0 balance if it was discharged in bankruptcy.

    No, this is not a bankruptcy.
    This is what I'm looking at;
    First USA 44XXXXXX Type of Acct: Revolving
    Bank Date Opened: 01/1998
    Last Activity: 03/2001
    High Credit: $5120
    Balance As of Date
    Reported: $5120
    Past Due: $900
    Date Reported: 10/2001

    I have receipts for payments that I've made through Western Union to have this account PAID(SETTLED), and the OC is still reporting a past due balance...do I have reason to dispute 'inaccurate' info w/CRA's and/or the OC?

    I had a similar situation. I disputed the account statint that I am NOT past due! I stated that since this is 9/2002 not 1/2001, their TL indicating that I was currently past due cannot be accurate. The payment history was deleted and changed to "pays as agreed".

    You could give it a try.

    so, I should dispute inaccuracy with the OC?
