I had an account with my ex-husband, never had any problem. I thought I had gotten his name off but had some problems with them when I tried to use it last year and it had been awhile. But it got straightened out and they gave me a new account. I don't know what my scores were but I had some derogs on my report. I don't think they're too hard if you have a major credit card, but you may want to go to customer service and use the phone to apply instead of doing it at the register if you think there is a problem. Customer service has been fine.
