What is the best revolving Amex card to have? I don't need rewards or anything like that? Thanks, Phyllis
Probably Blue, if u can get it. If you can't, then optima platinum has many of the same features, and is easier to get. -Roman
Matty, Amex Centurion is not a revolving (i.e., credit) card, so it can't be the answer to the question at hand, LOL. The Centurion card is the top-of-the-line charge card (i.e., payable in full every month). Doc Chief, Accuracy Police
YOU PAY $1,000 PER YEAR FOR THE PRIVILEAGE OF PAYING IN FULL... You can get other AMEX, DISCOVERCARD, VISA, M/C for FREE and PAY IN FULL...
Agreed. I like the AMEX Blue because you get the benefits of being an AMEX Cardholder and the ability to pay over time when you need it. You can pay in full each month as well.
Ahh, I missed the revolving part. Well, out of all of them, I'd take the centurioun. Out of the revolving bunch, I'd take the Blue.
I WOULD TAKE THE CENTURION IF...it had a revolving option @ 1.90% fixed $50,000 minimum credit limit, and mileage credit on the F/F PLAN OF YOUR CHOICE...
My Amex list: Best charge card (cost/benefit): Gold Rewards Plus. Best revolving card: Amex Blue 9.9%. Best rewards card: Amex Starwood Platinum. Saar
