What is the best rate any of you have on the CITI AAdvantage? I've got 13.9 but want to know how low they go. -0m
I called shortly after receiving a new card and was lowered to 10.65 fixed but for 6 months they are giving me 6,9 then goto 10.65 fixed. It was originally 14.65 on purchases and 19.99 for cash advances. cash is still at 19.99 but 6.9 for 6 months with goto of 10.65 is pretty good in my opinion but I have an $85.00 annual fee for the platinum select aa world mastercard. Call "R" and see what they offer you.
JTW-- Unless you're going to charge around $85-100K per year on the card, it is better to ask for the gold because the annual fee is only $50. The only difference between the cards is that plat. lets you earn 100,000 miles per year and gold is limited to 60,000.
