I went to Best Buy to buy networking cable and I noticed they have Diners Club logo on the window. So I used my Diners Club to purchase networking cable at check out and it accepted. Now Best Buy really accept Diners Club. So I don't need to apply for American Express Card. I came back home to check on both Best Buys and Diners Club and there is nothing mention about acceptance of the card. Ron.
