I finally got my wifes Experian report clean. She has 2 six month old Capital One cards on there, never late. One is an individual and the other is a joint with me. What would be a card that would check Experian, and be a 99% approval? She makes $1600 a month. Dustin
Re: Best card for building aft Well, I got her the Aria Persona. $49. fee, $89 annual fee. I am working on getting her A+ credit, and am willing to pay the fee's. After about 6 months, I will call and get the annual fee to 0. : ) Dustin
Re: Best card for building aft Dustin, call Aria and negotiate for the fee waiver. Nothing to lose. My fiance just got the card and the day he received it, we called retention and got them to waive the fee and lower interest to 19.8. We did not threaten to cancel or anything just said that we didn't realize how high the fees were with the card and would like a more competetitive rate. It might be worth a shot.
