Last year I paid off 2 credit cards (United Airlines Visa and FCNB) and settled with MBNA (my ONLY negative). Both Visa and FCNB closed my accounts even though I was NEVER late and paid the accounts in FULL. I guess they saw the "settled" R5 and decided I was a credit risk...Is this a common practice?
Anyhow, I have only an AMEX Blue (now maxed) and a debit card.
Does anyone have suggestions on cc for a Fico in the mid 600 range?

    Many thanks,
    Susanna

I am not expert, but with your utilization being so high, it is next to impossible to get a prime card. I should know, I have tried to get another one. Also, it depends upon how each seperate report looks and the fico on them. I specifically apply for companies that look at tu and now exp. Those reports are now clean except one baddy popped up on tu.

A lto fopeople have been having good luck with the Union card from Household.

Go to the Household website. It's the bottom card.
You have to check off that you're in a union. They don't check so pick one that is in your industry.

    They pull Equifax.
