Anyone know which service is best? I.e. most reasonable, "constant" updates, etc...? I see some mention of TrueCredit from TU. Is that because they are recommended by many here?
I'm using TrueCredit from TU. I like because can request daily updates (24 hrs and 1 minute since the last pull) on all three reports and view their Fako scores for all three.. I use to see the range and to check for inquiries...not sure how pulling daily impacts the scores or not.. I think I have read by some that it help.. but I have read so much lately I may be incorrect.
I have used TC for more then 1 year and use it for monitoring of all changes. Not a problem other then being slow to update new TL's once in a while. 11.21 ?? through Wal Mart website !!!
While the three risk scores are "FAKOs", they are a fairly accurate prediction of the general health of your risk scores. TrueCredit is pretty good for notifying you of changes, and it's nice to have daily access to a new tri-merged report. The only inquiries that will affect your risk score are hard inquiries that are the result of you applying for credit (and in some cases, car insurance, etc.). You can pull your own history 10 times a day and it won't negatively affect your risk scores one iota.
