I have been trying to purchase Equifax's Credit Watch service for $69.95.

I used the service free a couple months ago. I've tried to log on recently and they cannot verify my ID. After four calls to MyEquifax.com's customer support, two faxes, and a letter, they still are having problems. They told me to write a letter to CSC Services somewhere in Houston, TX and they would get me verified. One representative from MyEquifax said it may be a problem with my "suffix" such as Jr., Sr., I, II, III. I said I have none. In the meantime, they sent me a free copy of my Equifax report.

It shows me with a suffix of "I" ... so I tried to go online a resubmit but it still won't verify me, so I guess I have to wait until CSC Services write back.

Privista.com has allowed me to access my report online for a free trial, but they go through Equifax ID verify to get the actual score, so it doesn't work either.

What are the best, cheap, online, unlimited report pulling websites out there?

I use and like Creditexpert for getting Experian scores. You can pull the score once daily, although the reports are constantly updated throughout the day and you can get an updated report as often as you want it. It's 79.95 per year.

I use Creditwatch for Equifax. We paid the 69.95 for ours but if that 39.95 deal is still available that's one to jump on.

Unfortunately, TU still doesn't have a paid service like EQ's Credit Watch or EX's Credit Expert which would allow those who like to keep close tabs on their reports to do so. No doubt if TU did have one, a lot of folks would be happy to pay for it just as they do for the other two CRAs.

If you go to TU's site, there is an option for obtaining and viewing your report online. You can do it for free if you have been declined for credit within 60 days.

The online form asks for the creditor who declined you, but apparently if you have any hard inquiry at all, (regardless of when it originated) it really doesn't matter what creditor name you put in the blank (you could put "Joe Blow"), it will work and will give you a free report. (Keep in mind this is the FAKO TU score. There is also an option there to pay $12.95 for the true TU FICO.)

And apparently you can do any of this as often as you wish.

Hope this helps and welcome to the board!
