What service do you guys use to monitor your scores? I've got Experian's Credit Expert which allows for daily monitoring, but I haven't seen a similar service for either EQ or TU. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
For EQ you can subscribe to their Score Power service. You can view as often or infrequently as you like but each new pull of report and score eats up one of your 4 pulls. You get 4 with each subscription, but it's easily renewable. I pull mine with score power every 2 or 3 weeks. TU has no subscription service that I know of but they will sell you a report with score that you can view that day and for 6 days thereafter for a low fee.
I've got EQ's Score Power too and have been doing pretty much the same as you. I was hoping maybe I'd missed something. Thanks for taking the time to respond, I really appreciate it.
The TU score is free if you've been turned down for credit based on your TU report. They ask who the creditor was.
For TU, I just put down that I've been unemployed and will be looking for a job in the next 60 days. They don't ask for anything other than personal info. Gotten 3 free reports that way. :0
I have also found with TU that if you check that you were denied credit in the past 60 days, you will get your online report free. It will prompt you to enter the name of the issuer that denied you, but you can just ignore it and it still works.
