What is the best way to dispute. Is disputing online just as effective as typing out a letter? Also what are good credit cards for reestablishing credit? Is patelco still a good option?
In your first rounds of disputes, on-line disputing is just as good as Certified Mail written disputes. With both types, just make sure you keep excellent records and evidence of your disputes. The advantage of on-line disputes is that you can track your status easier depending upon the CRA. As you progress, and the disputes become a bit more complicated, you will have to make them in writing, and send CMRRR. Just make sure you follow the process; in your first round of disputes, make sure to start with disputing as "Not Mine", then go from there. Good Luck
