Anyone out there know how to get a better FICO score?

Mine is at low 700's now, and would like it to be a little higher just for kicks.

I would appreciate any help you can give.

    Thanks!

Why are you worried if it is in the low700's?

Are all three of your CRA score in the 700's ?

I need your "low 700" score to offset my high back end of 48% for a mortgage. Can you lend it to me? ;o)

Lizard - I don't know what the reason codes are. When I bought my new car, the gal told me they use equifax and it was low 700. I know the reason is because I have VERY OLD PAID CHARGE OFFS like 5 or 6 years ago.

Scott - I have no clue. I know equifax is. Is there a low cost way of finding out all 3 scores? Id rather do it by snail mail vs online.

Mother - You are too funny! I wish I could:)

It was worth a try =oD

Well at least you are nice to offer. The only way I know of obtaining all 3 scores is if you apply for a mortgage. That's how I found out my scores.

    Hope this helps. ;o)

I've gone to several different lenders and said I was interested in begining the pre-qualification process, that I was getting ready to buy a house and I figured I would likely need to clear a few items up on my report, could we go ahead and run a report and see what my chances are, etc.

I've always been successful in getting a triple merged report for around $15 this way on the spot, complete with FICO's. Sometimes they make you sign a Pre-qual form saying your applying for a loan of X$, but it's no big deal.
