Bill Bauer, a respected credit advocate, has his site now hacked, and/or disabled. The information that was previously useful at his site now reads like a diatribe from the major three CRA's/ I have also picked up posts on this site in the same vein, and suggest prudence. It is so sad that we live in a time where people like us are realists and people that work for the CRAs or likewise are trying to discourage the use of free speach. I have a new book coming out in three months exposing all CRA secrets about scoring, listings, etc. it should be fun. I encourage credit repair advocates, and hope that the minority will soon defeat the majority. The truth will soon be out and the CRA fatcats will be leaking life from their fat gills./ KEMCOS
It's not necessary to infiltrate every thread you see with questions about BB. If you can't live without him go to Creditwrench. Geez
Re: Re: Beware They Are Here kemcos, you just seem a little what's the word I am looking for, paranoid I guess. You're posts about BB seem really offlandish. BB is gone OK, That does not mean spies or the credit bureaus put a hit on him or something.
Re: Re: Beware They Are Here why don't we ask Bill to insert himself if there is no strangeness here friends. Yes, the CRA friendlies will try to take charge any way they can, but they will fail in the end because my new book by a major publisher exposes EVERYTHING. So sorry friends. They will kill my FICO in retribution, but I care not as I can pay cash for anything my heart desires.
Re: Re: Re: Beware They Are Here where's bill guys? That'll prove you right won't it? visited his site lately? does it look strange??
Re: Re: Re: Re: Beware They Are Here More wild claims. You are the same person who posted that Anne from Smart Money Magazine was with the cra's. When asked for proof, you disappeared. Get some reality. By the way, I just read some of your posts asking questions about cra's. You don't know nearly enough to have a publisher putting out a book. Please. Spare us your b.s.
Re: Re: Re: Beware They Are Here OMG....... bwahahahahahahahahaha! This has got to rank up there in the top 10 funniest CN posts of all time! I'm sorry Kemcos, did you forget to take your meds this morning???
Re: Re: Re: Re: Beware They Are Here I could care less about BB's own site. Ummm, he's not here because he got banned again, didn't he?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Beware They Are Here No question about that. Read these previous posts from the book writer. kemcos | 69 posts since Feb 2003 12.236.160.139 | 04.22.2003 @ 22:42 If a consumer disputes an item as "Included in bankruptcy", it would seem that this would be rather difficult item for an OC to confirm or Deny. Therefore, the question is, if an OC did not respond, would the CRA update the account to read "included in bankruptcy" on the consumer's credit file or would they delete the account entirely????????? How can an OC confirm if an account is 'included in BK'. Aren't they afraid of liability if they say it was not included in a BK? Particularly if it is a charge-off?? Faxing in disputes to CRA kemcos | 69 posts since Feb 2003 12.236.160.139 | 04.28.2003 @ 14:33 Has anyone had any luck with faxing in initial disputes to a CRA ? They always state that you should list your file or confirmation # when faxing the bureaus, but if you just fax them an initial dispute letter with your DOB and SS# will they accept it and begin an investogation? Credit FIle Info During Disputes kemcos | 69 posts since Feb 2003 12.236.160.139 | 03.02.2003 @ 20:34 All: I Posted the message below a while back and only received one reply. My question is, does anyone on this board know the definite laws regarding using info in a report while it is under investigation or reverification??? Further, can you point out any valid laws/FTC opinions on paper that address this matter??? Thanks! kemcos | 31 posts since Feb 2003 12.236.160.139 | 02.12.2003 @ 22:56 Re: Re: Re: Need help for story on FICO scores kemcos | 70 posts since Feb 2003 12.236.160.139 | 02.13.2003 @ 22:06 Anne is with the credit bureau folks, be careful
Re: Re: Re: Re: Beware They Are Here Quote from Bill in his forums at Creditwrench: So that's what he says about you. Personally, I think you're right to be worried. I don't think the Men in Black have come for him, but I don't think he's been acting himself either. He was posting over at YM for a short time, but his posts were not always on-point. I hope things are okay with him.
Re: waalien KEMCOS, if you look up to your upper right there are a series of graphics with words on them. One of those words says "SEARCH". It's even in all caps. If you click on that word, you'll be taken to another screen, where you can <gasp!> SEARCH for posts. By username, even. I'll even let you be the judge of what is significant and what isn't. Your opinion simply means that little to me. In all honesty, though, this will be my most significant post, because I'm going to refer you to a resource that I think will aid you greatly in your quest for understanding. http://www.seroquel.com/cons_asp/index.asp
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Beware They Are Here I hate to tell you this, and most won't consider it earth shattering news, but bbauers posts were almost never completely on point.
Re: waalien My point Kemcos, was that these are not typical questions from an expert in cra procedures and the author of a book about cra secrets. Sorry.
