FYI: Beware of sending regular money transfers through their online site. I used my Visa debit card to send a small amount to my daughter as an emergency. They debited my account, but later sent an e-mail saying they could not make the funds available and needed more info. I provided my home number on the processing screen, but no one tried to call me. When I tried calling the 800 number provided several times, it rang with no response. I know online fraud is a problem, but they need a better disclaimer on their web site. Luckily, it was just a small amount. I hate to think that a large amount would have been held in limbo for several days. Repeated e-mails sent no response. It has been several days and I am still waiting for them to credit my account. Quick Collect payments seem okay, though.
I use Bidpay by western union to pay for auctions where the user won't accept paypal. The forst use required 'further info', but it was totally for my protection, so I understood. No problems since then. I think WU in genreal is kinda a rip-off company that takes advantage of people whi don't have checking accounts, CC's, etc. I only use bidpay when I have too. The service has been good for me, though. Shawn
There's C2it, yahoo paydirect, USPS has a payment service - must be a zillion of em, but both parties have to have accounts.
