This morning I logged on Citi accountonline to check the balance of my Shell Mastercard. The I clicked on limit increase and the system came back with the message: Congradulations!!!! Your credit line can be immediately increased by $1500 for a total new credit line of $9000. During evaluation process, credit bureau report was not pulled. I called Nordstrom Bank Platinum Visa customer service to ask for limit increase. She asked me how much do I need to increase and I told her that I need only $2000. She told me that my Nordstrom Platinum Visa has been increased to $4000 immediately. I just called Target Visa customer service to ask for limit increase. She asked me that when was the last increase for the account and I told her it was the beginning of the year. She told me that we could try for the increase whether the system increase or not. She told me that your limit increase immediately increased to $12,000. Ron.
STARTED WITH $10,000 + $500 (probably 18 months ago) (ON-LINE) I WAS TOLD THEY DO AUTOMATIC INCREASES EVERY 6 MONTHS!!! I'M OWED 3 INCREASES!!!
Re: Big Day for Limit Increase!!!!! Congratulations, Ron. GEORGE, I don't think I get increases from Citi every six months. Maybe if your limit is higher they come less often. My limit is over $15K. I'm not sure exactly what it is.

Re: Big Day for Limit Increase!!!!! I closed my Target Visa because they offered me a $50 CL increase or 9.9% but not both. I have significant lines with other banks, just cant understand why they dont value me. I shopped online at Walmart while the Red Target Visa was going thru the shredder.
Re: Big Day for Limit Increase!!!!! Yea it is I conflict, their idea of what a good customer is (whatever that is) and Target conflicts my idea of what a good bank is. Should have known when I got a misers $500 line to start with, heck even when I was in college I got $1000 or $1500 and thats 20 years ago. No hard feelings to them but I offered over the summer to buy $1500 in Patio furniture and they would not budge, recently I told them do allot of my holiday shopping there and they gave me the meager offer. All I really wanted was the 10% off deal but I had a meager $500 line, I suppose I could have bought in pieces paid card bought more etc... But why be bothered. In both cases I shopped at Walmart ... So they lost a good customer.
