Hi everyone! Just joined this board tonight but have been reading the boards since August. Thanks for all the good information! Now I need help! I was wondering if this has happened to anyone that has filed Chapter 7 BK. How come I have two BK's on my Experian report? Is this standard? I tried to dispute it back in August but they said they would not remove it. The bankruptcies are listed under two different filing numbers but have the same date filed. I only filed once in December of 1996. Can anyone help me understand this? Thanks! Keep all the good advice coming! CreditGirl
Should be easy to wait until about the 5th of December and dispute the one with the wrong number on it as "not mine" Maybe you can get it off that way. by waiting until about the 5th of December they will be too short handed to do anything much about it so they might just delete it. You can always hope
