Like the healing forehead slap of a TV Evangelist, it knocked me down on the floor shouting strange things! After only 5 Months, MY BK DISAPPEARED OFF TU!! TU FICO went from like 618 to 654. Now my average is over the 650 mark. I disputed this (kind of) about a month ago. A stealth, hand written letter with no legal mumbo jumbo. Just "a little common man with a problem approaching an honest company about an honest mistake" letter (I know -- I'm full of S@#$), not even CRRR. They blew me off with a form letter and I chalked it up as a nice try. Today I pull WK and my BK is gone. I verified with the TU report. Celebration time .... Pizza night!!!!!!! Makes me feel like disputing more.
Wow..great job. Was that listed as a Public Record? Did you have any tradelines that referenced the BK? How old of a BK was it?
Yes and yes. In fact, before I knew better, I had disputed 6 or so TLs as "included in BK". Now I'm going to dispute them again and see what happens.
I don't mean to stop you from ordering pizza but these things are easily reversable again. I bet you don't hear the stories about the people who thought they were smart and got away with it temporarily only to get it changed back again. I mean who would have the guts to admit that on a site like this one? I have seen this personally happen to people and they don't jump on a site like this and go "Man I thought I pulled one over, and now I look stupid". And then the ugly aftermath of disputing all over again to get back what should be legit. Will the CRA believe you again, probably not. Will your disputes be a priority, probably not. Don't get me wrong it's a good thing to get a credit report better and I think it's great, but all 3 reports, all the accounts, the B.K gone forever is not 100% realistic. If anyone has the guts to admit they got screwed trying to do this in the end, let others know the spot your in now!!!
Um.....people come on this board every day and admit things and talk about situations that they would never talk about to anyone out in the "real" world. Why would someone care about having an account get placed back on their credit report after a deletion. It's called a re-insertion, and there are laws that are designed to govern when this can happen. This happens all the time.

Not supposed to drop till next year. It came off and my faco rose 70+ points. Fico only rose about 15, though. Anyhow, if it does come back on, I won't hesitate to post that it came back. I am elated that it is off, but I know there is always the possibility.
Re: Re: Bk Disappears Of Tu! Yessssssssssss Interestingly enough, I have a copy of my TU report - first post bk CR pull - from 2/7/2003 (online, with FICO) and under "Public records" it states NONE. Yet under the "Negative accounts" it has several accts are "Ch 7 bankruptcy". Huh? Do not know what to make of this.

BTW, I got confirmation from TU in the mail today that the BK was investgated and deleted. Jason, dude, have a little faith. Cheer up. Take your victories where you can get them. Read some old posts and see how much mature knowledge there is on this board as well as how many roller coaster stories. Stick around a learn ;-).
