I posted last week about several accts. on my BK7( 1997) accounts being reported wrong (wrong closing dates, balances, past due etc etc) and I just got my updated TU. They fixed several of them and my score jumped 12 points(blah). My real problem is that one of these accounts is still showing up with the wrong info. Gets tricky.... The account number listed on my BK petition for this account differs from the one thats listing on my CR's due to them hiring a lawyer and filing suit before I went BK. When I filed, we used the lawyers acct # and not the original acct#. They are reporting the original acct# which is showing this was charged off in 12/2001, 7/2002 with a balance etc etc. I went BK in 1997! Should I contact this creditor myself? In writing or phone?
