How do I get a bk7 removed from my credit? Should I delete dischrged accounts first?
    What Letters should I use?

Make sure that the address you filed under is not on your bureau then dispute as "not mine".

What if the address you filed bankruptcy with is still your current address and only address listed on the report?

how are bk7's verified by the CRAs? I know that I personally can verify any bk for anyone with nothing more than a name and where they filed at.....

while I respect most all of SCmomof5's suggestions I must caution anyone using the "not mine" method as this can cause some unwanted backlash. So before using it do a search on this site and see what results you might get. I feel the "not mine" method should be carefully researched before using it because at best it is fraud and at worst it is identity theft backlash which is a big mess....so just be forewarned and well researched before using it as a strategy.

    I respect your opinion.

I only state that because I wrote a letter to EQ for my first dispute. I disputed bad info on the CH7 listing on mine. It was corrected and is listed as verified 04/02.

I went to dispute hubby's online. They only gave the option of "not mine". So, I clicked on it. His was deleted. When I called EQ and asked how it could be verified on mine and not his, she said that his was disputed as "not mine" Since they could not verify the name and address, his was deleted. With mine, they used the case # and got the updated info. They did not check for the name/address match because I did not dispute it as not mine. Hence, mine remains, his does not. SUCKS!

I am not toooooo overly upset. It will be deleted in Aug next year. (That is if they manage to verify during CHOD)!
