I was reading this post on another credit site and I found this quite amusing.. Do not get me wrong, I know there are a lot of people who need to file BKO and I understand it 100%.. Here is a person who has just had Two Trades with a Major Credit Card Company that were included in his BKO, and he says that he is getting screwed by the Company.. I think that it is the other way around.. If his wife was only an Authorized User... It should not harm her at all.. But if she is a Co Applicant it is a different story.. They had better hope that she does not have any joint trades with her hsb that were included in the BKO, Because if she had any Credit Cards, ect with available credit , The Credit line would be reduced or even worse , closed.. because of the risk involved..

    Watch your Credit Reports
I declared bankruptcy and my First USA Visa and First USA Mastercard accounts were both listed among the other debts that I had declared bankruptcy for.
Now get this....my wife was only an "authorized user" on both accounts and when my bankruptcy was approved through the court system, First USA PLACED ONE OF THE ACCOUNTS ON MY WIFE'S CREDIT HISTORY AS HER BEING THE PRIMARY CARDHOLDER....thus, giving her a negative credit rating against her.
Beware of what may happen when dealing with First USA on anything....they will screw you royally when anything happens that isn't in their favor.

This happens ALL the time. It has been posted here as well as others boards that people that were only "AU" were also getting negatives marks on their reports. Sounds real simple to get this remove HA, they do this all the time and sometimes you have to fight tooth and nail to get them removed.

Well, I know Rubyjane in that I know who she works for and so I know that she is nobody's fool.
When she says she knows BKO 100% I'd advise taking her at face value.

But at the same time, I'm wondering if she has all of the facts before her. Using the law of average for message board postings, I almost be willing to suppose that she does not.
Be that as it may, given the circumstances as she perceived them to be, I'd say she pretty well knows what the heck she is talking about.

Since it seems likely that the poster who answered her also has some knowledge about that which he says, so I tend to doubt that all the facts are in upon which we can pass judgment certain.

She never said she knew this person???? this was posted at another site and I happen to read it too.

This happens all the time, there are plenty of people that are battling this problem right now who post here.

Yes, I've seen the same thing many times before as well. And what I'm trying to point out is that I feel quite certain that although a glimmer of a disagreement seems to be present, I think that both of you have your valid points of view.

I think that in this instance both of you can be right at the same time.
