If things haven't changed, I suspect the Green looks for around a 650 credit score or thereabouts. No major negatives. Concerning product transfers: 1. You can directly transfer a Blue to a Cash Rebate Platinum and vice versa - if you get a rep who knows how. 2. You can get an Optima (i.e. Optima, Delta, Hilton, Starwood) and once approved, THEN apply for Blue and call MORE (at New Accounts) to facilitate approval for the Blue. And vice versa. If you apply for an Optima or Blue, you can transfer credit lines (minimum $2000) from an existing Optima to the new Blue in order to be approved for the Blue. And vice versa. But you do have to submit a fresh application for the new card. 3. You cannot turn an Optima into a Blue or vice versa at this time.
Marci When you say no major negatives, can you elaborate. I have some student loans that I am in the process of rehabing so they will go no where in at least a year. If they are the only problems by the time I am ready to apply what say my chances
