I thought for sure they were going to give me a hard time because my EQ FICO is only 669. Approved at 6.05%. Now I just have to wait for the darn car to be shipped. Anyone in SC want to go pick it up for me?
While I'm thinking of it, does anyone know if my score will improve with the payoff of my current car loan? I've only had the loan for 10 months.
I put down $3,500 including tax, tags, etc. In Texas, leases are a bad deal because of our tax laws so I took what they call "Owner's Option". I own the car but have the right to sell it back to them for a predetermined price.
I bought it here in Texas but it's coming off of a ship and going to a BMW dealer in SC. The one I wanted is hard to find and so they have to intercept it and send it down here.
You may want to reconsider GEORGE. Think about it, driving (haulin ass) thru the Smokeys and the hill country. Nice car, I came close to buying a Beamer. You'll really enjoy it in the hills. Charlie
I believe the proper and correct word is "Bimmer". "Beemer" tends to signify the BMW motorcycle, not the car. Now that you're about to join the club, you need to know this stuff. Nice car. VJ
I'm totally psyched. Right now I have an Audi A4 but I really miss my old Miata. This way, I have the best of both worlds. And George, what's the point of having a sports car if it's an automatic? That's like getting a credit card and not asking for a CL increase!
VJ, You're probably right, but in Texas we do and say things a little differently. Charlie www.buyabeamer.com
No harm or disrespect intended, but I would be careful about buying a BMW from a website that didn't know the difference between beamer and bimmer, Texas or no Texas. Click below, you may be surprised... http://www.bmwccbc.org/misc/tech-and-trivia/bimmer.html http://www.michiana-bmwcca.com/beemer.htm VJ
Congratulations Austinguy. I'm in SC and for the right price I'll drive it to TX for ya!!! Are they shipping it directly from the BMW manufacturer or the Century BMW car dealership? The 325i is a great car. Congrats again!
