I have a BoA Dividend Miles (US Airways) Signature Visa with an $11k limit and have had the card about five (5) years. I gave the card to my wife when I had a $4k balance and she ran up the balance to about $9k in three (3) months. I am thinking about calling them and asking for a rate reduction as I have a long relationship with them and do not want to open a CL at another company just to get a lower rate. I have a 700ish FICO. Any idea how BoA is to such requests? Any tips?
