    Hi all,
I deposited in an ATM machine my wife and I's refund check in my only account. However, we both endorsed the check. BOA corrected it, but it's been almost 2 months, BOA never returned the check to me. I called BOA 4 times during the last 1.5 mons. The 1st time BOA told me Post Office lost my check, but BOA will send me a copy. I waited one week later, no check... I called them the second time and asked them to mail it to the closest BOA branch, so my wife and I can go there and deposit the check in person.... No check sent... I called the third time to BOA customer solution. she said BOA had sent my check to a wrong address and they can't send it to a branch... so she said she'll send it to to my address again. She also gave me a tracking number. Another one week, still no check sent. I tracked the number thru USPS. It's a bad number. I called BOA again, BOA told me why don't I just order another check from IRS. After 2 months waiting for the check to be returned and now that all I can do? BOA put me on hold and finally asked me to let them call me back... One hour passed, they still not call yet...
Please help... I'm losing my patient... ready to hire a lawyer to take care this for me...
Imagine if I owe them money... they'd ruin my credit, my life, track me to dirt...

    Appreciate all your help!

At this stage of the game, a lawyer might be the only way to get a timely resolution.

    Incredible story.

Good luck!!! BOA sucks!!!! I have my 2nd mortgage w/them. I got a letter telling me that I had a new acct # and new address to send the mtg pymt to, but send any payments to the old address until 7/29. So, 7/15 I sent $1,000 to the old address, and 8/15 I sent $500 to the new address, per their instructions. THEY REPORTED ME AS 45 DAYS PAST DUE!! I only found out because I was denied employment because of my credit report, and this was one of the reasons!!
Also, I work for a mortgage company (GMAC). I had to call BOA for a customer to get info on their acct because it was a condition for their loan...they put me through to 12 different people and I spent over 2 hours on the phone with them.
I really hope you get your check, but I wouldn't count on it. Best of luck!
