BOA USAir Dividend Miles card a rip off. Charged me $31 for a 3-day late payment ($29 "late fee" and $2.35 "finance charge." What a rip off. Customer service rep said he would withdraw late fee as a "courtesy." I cancelled the card instead.
Um... when did you send your payment? If you sent it 7-10 days ahead of the due date (holiday mail times are a little slower) ... then you have my sympathy and I'd say "give 'em hell" If you paid it within a few days of the due date, then quit griping about the late fee which you agreed to in the contract. I pay my B of A Visa bill through Paytrust (electronically) and it clears in 2 days.
