BofA CL incr. prior to activation?

    I received on-line approval for a 9k limit. I'm still waiting on the card to arrive.

    I'm wondering if anyone here has had any luck getting a cl increase by calling them prior to activation?

    YMMV but I was not able to do so.
    I didn't have any BT's to do at the time, so that may have prevented it. Good luck.

    I could not get anything at activation... but 9 months later from "R" I got a SUBSTANTIAL increase, 4% BT for the length of the transfer and 5.99% on purchases.
    They are very professional, and it never hurts to ask.
    Did I mention that I love BofA
