Rejected for BofA 700 Score Wife applied for BofA visa, 700+ score no derogs, lots of inquiries (purchased investment property) the inquiries were not creditcard requests. any ideas? anyone work around this before? instant response I recieved: -------- Thank you for your application for a Bank of America Visa Platinum credit card account. Re: Rejected for BofA 700 Score Just curious what scores you are getting approved with, like on the 5k cl. Any derogs? We are paying off our cards and expect scores to go over 700 when they post. 1 30-day late 2 years ago, but too many inq, maybe we should wait til 6 mos are up with no inq?

Re: Rejected for BofA 700 Score I PFB'd BoA for DH the other, he was denied for "too many inquiries last month" and some other reason that basically said he didn't have enough revolving credit, he has NONE! She called the next day, but hubby hasn't been able to call her back yet. He's gonna call tomorrow, I'll let you know what she says, if it will help. He has a 675 TU, no derogs (one is supressed) 3 inquiries, short history.

Hubby called her back last Friday and left a message saying he wanted a human to review the app and reconsider it, but told her to call if she needed any more info (she never called back). He called her again today and left another message asking if she would call him back.
Re: Rejected for BofA 700 Score Robin called me back 2 weeks after I sent a polite letter to PFB. My scores were about 630, less than 2 year credit history and almost 100% utilization. I was approved for $5k Money Return Visa Platinum. Give Robin some time to get back to you, but she'll work some miracles.
Re: Rejected for BofA 700 Score no news yet... a emailed her directly (original letter was PFB to pres.) and asked for a response on my wifes behalf. That was early this morning. I did not hear back from her today.

Re: Rejected for BofA 700 Score THICK FUNNY ENVELOPE IN THE MAIL TODAY! INSIDE, BOF A CARD WITH $13,000 LIMIT...... MAYBE THEY IGNORED PFB LETTERS BECUASE IT HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN MANUALLY APPROVED?? ASKED FOR $11K IN BALANCE TRANSFERS, BTW. THAT MAY BE WHY THEY WENT TO 13K LIMIT. OTHERWISE MAYBE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LOWER?

BTW- He applied on the 29th, I PFB'd BoA the 30th, she called the 30th, but today we got a letter (I think the generic too bad letter) saying the reasons again why he was denied. Did you get this letter? As well as the online denial? Congrats!!!!
